If you have many devices at home or at work, for example if you have administrative access to many computers in your room, there are ways in which you can make money passively, usually taking a little effort investment.
1. Cryptocurrency mining
> Cryptocurrency mining can be done when you have many devices, or if you have a single device that has a lot of computing power. Bear in mind that this will have maintenance costs and you should take that into account.
2. Running many programs
> If you have a proprietary script that will need more than once device or "thread" you could allocate the computing power to all your devices so you do not stress your hardware. Cryptocurrency mining is one example however for others you can also have scripts that help with office work such as office bots and enterprise scripts.
3. Renting devices to others
> If you have many devices you can opt to rent them out by a per-month or per-hour basis. If you have many computers you can have the renters use the computers by the hour. If the renters can connect to your devices via the internet you can create a per-month business model.
4. Providing computing power
> You can use your devices and aggragate all their computing power into a single device, or into a single service at once. You can even make a supercomputer cluster if you want to. Again one such example is cryptocurrency mining however a concrete option would be to create load balancers. This is most especially true for cloud-capable servers if you have administrative access to them.
